In order to reach more people with God’s love, we need to build healthy community, equip everyday missionaries & establish scalable, Spirit-led structure.

Over the past 35 years, God has taken the faithful sacrifices of the people at Gateway to make a big impact on the world around us. More than just increasing numbers at the church, we want to see our church grow in health to become a place where people are equipped to grow, become who God made them to be, and be released to impact our city and world.

Our vision is to partner with God’s plan to establish heaven on earth, here and now.

By 2036, we will have built a victorious & diverse church that is radically alive in Jesus, overflowing with joy and generosity, whose people are beacons of light, releasing the transformative power and love of Jesus to the world around them.

As we partner with God in Vision36, these are the outcomes we expect to see formed in us over the next decade.

 

Preparing for Sustainable
 Multiplication

We’re not just building for the next ten years, we’re building for the next hundred. We want to set Gateway up for generational success, setting a framework for future growth and impact as a church by paying off debt, building an expansion, and creating a sustainable model of discipleship.

Becoming a Training
 Ground

We want to be a training ground for kingdom expansion, forming everyday missionaries who carry the love and power of Jesus into every sphere of life. We don’t want to focus just on Gateway – but reaching every corner of Edmonton with the love of Jesus.

Building Healthy
 Community

We’re not focused on becoming the biggest church in Edmonton, but on becoming a deeply healthy church, where people are radically alive in Christ and walking in freedom and wholeness.

Vision36 isn’t something we watch happen, it’s something we step into together.

There are three ways to get involved with what God is doing at Gateway:

Commit to Following God’s Leading

Be willing to allow God to shape you, challenge you, and lead you into deeper health & maturity.

This means committing to growth, choosing God’s ways, and trusting Him even when He stretches you beyond what feels comfortable.

Be Generous with Your Time

Prayerfully consider how God may be calling you to give your time in service of His work at Gateway.

As you serve, you help build healthy community, create space for others to encounter Jesus, and learn to live out your faith in everyday life.

Be Generous with Your Finances

Prayerfully consider how God may be calling you to give financially in support of Vision36.

Every dollar given helps build a Spirit-led church that multiplies impact, equips people for mission, and bears fruit for generations to come.
