How do I join a team?

It’s simple! Just fill out our Team Application Form. This will connect you with the relevant team leader, who will be in touch to give you more information, answer any questions you have, and help you find your perfect fit so you can start making an impact right away.

Can I serve if I attend online?
Absolutely! While most of our teams require in-person attendance, our Groups team is always looking for new group leaders who can host online groups, which is a great way to get connected and make a difference.
Do I need prior experience?
Absolutely not! A lack of experience is just an opportunity to learn something new. Each team has a simple on-boarding process which will provide you with all the training and support you need to feel confident and empowered as you serve.
Do I need to be a member of the church to serve?
Absolutely not! You are always welcome to become a member at Gateway, but serving is not required of members nor is it required to be a member to serve.
What is the time commitment?
We totally understand that everyone’s availability differs, and want to give you the best opportunity based on your skillset while honouring your other commitments.

Each team has a different commitment level and timeframe, but most ask for a once-a-month commitment on a Sunday morning.
