What platform do you use for giving?

We use an online platform called Planning Center to manage all aspects of our church, including giving. All online donations are processed securely by a payment processing company called Stripe, and all in-person (debit & credit) donations are processed securely by a payment processing company called Square.

All donations received are recorded by Planning Center to ensure your Tax Receipt is up-to-date.

How do I view my Giving History?

You can access your giving history & previous tax receipts/giving statements online by logging in to Planning Center using the link below.

How do I setup recurring giving?

Setting up recurring giving is a very simple process. Simply head to our online giving platform, enter the amount you wish to give, and then select Frequency > Regularly. From there you will be able to specific weekly, bi-weekly monthly or bi-monthly.

Will I receive a tax receipt/giving statement?

Gateway provides annual giving statements to everyone who has given during the period of the statement. These statements are automatically sent to the email address we have on file, and as such our ability to provide you with a statement is based on having your most up-to-date contact information.

Help! I didn't get my tax return/giving statement

You should receive an email within the first month of the year containing your tax return. If you did not receive that email however, you can also download it by visiting your Giving Profile on Planning Center. Simply login using the link below, scroll down to the “Statements” heading, and click the Download button alongside your Tax Receipt Statement.

What is the deadline for annual contributions?

Online donations must be completed by 11:59 pm MT on December 31st to be included on your giving statement for that year. Cash and check contributions must be received by the last Sunday of the year to be included.

What is Planning Center?

Planning Center is our church management platform that allows you to give a single gift, or schedule recurring giving using your bank account, debit, or credit card.

Please note – most issues are caused by issues within your browser that are out of our control. Some simple tests you can do on your own are:

  1. Try giving through another browser/on another device
  2. Try giving through Incognito Mode on your browser

Where does the money go?

All money donated to Gateway Alliance Church is used to further our vision of being a gateway for transformation & encounter, partnering with God as He transforms lives, renews minds, heals bodies, and works through people to change our city and the world.

We strive to maintain a high level of integrity and accountability with the finances of the church, because we take God’s money very seriously. This is why we’ve taken steps to ensure the secure handling and counting of weekly offerings, why we issue bi-annual giving statements that show your year-to-date giving, why our financial statements are frequently reviewed by licensed accountants & our board, and why we prepare an annual budget that is adopted by our board.

Every dollar that is given to the church is used to fund the project of seeing lives changed, whether it is…
… supporting one of our outreach partners such as missionaries across the globe, or local non-profits working to help people in need
… creating a welcoming atmosphere at Gateway for people to encounter Christ
… paying our talented and dedicated staff, or
… reaching our community with the love of Jesus

 On top of that, we are committed to giving 10% of all our income to support both missionaries globally, and local non-profits that are working to demonstrate the love of Jesus to a hurting & broken world, and help people in need.
